Do I have to be a Woktron customer to become an affiliate?
Absolutely not. But we think you’d love our web hosting service nonetheless.
I know someone who needs hosting. How do I earn a referral fee?
You need to sign up for our affiliate program. Once approved, log into your affiliate account. You can quickly access your affiliate link in the Account menu, in the upper portion of any page you visit in your control panel. Send this link to your acquaintance that needs hosting. When they click on that link and order an account with us, you earn a commission.
I've been approved for the Woktron's affiliate program. Now what do I do?
Log into your affiliate account to access Woktron’s marketing materials. Click the Promotion menu on the left to find banners and text links to add to your site. Click Promotion and then Banners & Links. Choose the marketing material you would like to add to your site, click “Get Banner Code”, and copy/paste this code to your site. When someone clicks on that link and purchases a hosting account, you earn a commission.
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a URL that contains your unique affiliate id. Each time you refer a visitor to the woktron.com website with this affiliate link, our system tracks their actions and you are paid a commission based on their purchase amount.
Can I promote via social media?
Yes. However, we do not advise posting your tracking link directly on social media as it can usually result in a lot of spam clicks which can negatively impact your account.
I just made a sale. Where can I see it?
Log into your Woktron affiliate account. On the left side of the control panel. Here you can see all of your Pending and Approved commissions.
Do you offer commission on addons or domains?
At this time, we only offer a commission for qualified hosting purchases. We do not offer any additional commission for any add-ons or software licenses or domains.
What happens if my referral returns the product?
In the event that your referral gets a refund for the order, or if the order was canceled for any reason or was fraudulent, your commission amount for that particular transaction will be removed.
Do I get any commissions for Woktron promotional offers?
No, commissions are paid only for our standard plans.
What is your cookie duration?
Our affiliate program uses cookies to track sales generated by your affiliate link. In order for our system to track this information properly, the following conditions should be met:
- Cookies must be enabled in the browser’s settings before your referral follows the link.
- Cookies must not be cleared before a purchase is made by your referral.
- Your referral should use the same browser to sign up for a Woktron account and to make a purchase.
Our tracking cookie will remain valid for 90 days.
What is the minimum payout limit?
The minimum payout amount is €50,-
How long is payment delayed?
To avoid possible fraud the payment delay is 2 months. This means that if you make a sale on the 1st of january, you will receive your payment around the 1st of march.
Don’t forget, this is a recurring commission so if the client stays on, you will continue to receive a commission.
Do I get paid if I buy any Woktron products for myself?
No, commissions are paid only for referring new customers.
You should also have any clients you are referring to buy Woktron products to purchase the items using their own payment option as opposed to you buying items for them.
If you are a web designer and you wish to refer clients to your account at Woktron, you can contact our sales team. We’d be happy to make an exception in this case, but only under the provision that these are not your own websites. You may be asked for proof of this.
